TWO RACES aimed at British Superbike and Supersport teams, and counting to the Donington Park Trophy, have been added to the circuit's opening motorcycle race meeting of the season, the all-new MotoSix Internations Team Challenge, to be held over the weekend of 28/29 March.

The two races, each over 12 laps of the Leicestershire Grand Prix circuit, on Sunday and offering a prize fund of £5000 will provide a pre-season warm-up prior to the start of the busy BSB Championship year.

Ahead of the races, practice and qualifying for which will be held during Saturday, a special test day has been arranged for Thursday 26 March, with participating teams able to remain in the pits/paddock area through to the weekend event.

The Donington Park Trophy races add a further dimension to an already busy sporting weekend at the circuit, featuring the inaugural running of the six nations team challenge with riders representing England, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Man, Northern Ireland and the Irish Republic bidding for glory in Superbike, Supersport and Sidecar races.

Around these there will also be races counting to the ACU Suzuki GS-R Trophy, the ACU 250GP National Championship and the Womens British Championship.
