500cc hardman to wow the crowds in a, err, car...
Hooray!
FORMER MULTIPLE 500cc World Champion Mick Doohan is to take to the track once again - this time driving an AMG Mercedes race car at a demonstration event prior to the Australian F1 Grand Prix in Melbourne in two weeks time.
Doohan will pilot the 600bhp race car to promote the Mercedes team, as they plan to join the country's V8 supercar series.
We'd much rather see Michael ripping the arse out of his old Honda NSR500 instead. That'd give the F1 Jonnies something to talk about.
