FRENCH RIDER Cyril Despres took victory in the third stage of this year's Dakar Rally.
Despres, riding a KTM, blitzed the field with a time of 3.01:09, respectively 10’40 and 12’09 ahead of Portugal’s Helder Rodrigues (Yamaha) and Paulo Goncalves (BMW).
The result now puts the Frenchman at the head of the overall standings.
