THE firm behind the ambitious plans for an international-level bike and car racing circuit in Ebbw Vale in Wales has named the firms that will construct the track if planning permissions are granted.
The Heads of the Valleys Development Company named Spanish firm FCC Construccion – responsible for work at Jerez circuit among other things – and local Welsh company Alun Griffiths (Contractors) Ltd of Abergavenny as the two that will undertake the building of the £276 million project.
Planning applications for the circuit are set to be delivered this month, and the project already has significant funding and both local and national government support.
