Let's hope the rider's ok, eh Carlos?

FORMER WORLD rally champion Carlos Sainz admitted to clipping a biker as he powered his way to victory in the second stage of the 2009 Daker Rally.
The Spaniard battled with poor visibility through much of the dust-strewn 237km stage, taking his Volkswagen across the finishing line 1min 14 secs ahead of defending champion Stephane Peterhansel, driving a Mitsubishi. Sainz said:
"It was a very difficult stage with all the dust and the bikes," admitted Sainz who won the Rally of Argentina twice during his world rally championship career. At times, we nearly had to stop. I even hit a biker at one point; I hope he's going to be OK."
Reports say it's unclear who the biker was or whether they were seriously injured.
