Shakey Bryne dominates the Silverstone 200 support races
IN the inaugural Silverstone 200 support race for the British MotoGP, Shane Byrne was victorious in the two 100km races.
The event saw a mixture of riders from different series and categories with superbikes facing off against supersport machines.
With two races run over 16 laps of the Arena GP circuit, the first race on Saturday was interrupted by rain and reduced to nine laps.
Rapid Solicitors Kawasaki BSB riders Bryne and Stuart Easton were forced to start the race from the back of the grid after missing the the pit lane closing slot as tyres were being changed. Despite this Bryne took an easy victory in the wet conditions.
Run over the full 16-laps on Sunday, Bryne again took an easy win by over half a minute.
