EMBASSY RACING has announced they will enter two riders in next year's British Supersport Championship. The team also confirmed that following recent meetings with Triumph the British factory will be back in the BSB paddock for a further year.

The team will test over the winter to determine who will ride alongside the already confirmed Glen Richards as the second rider on the all-new Triumph Daytona 675. However, the teams Junior Superstock rider AJ Venter will be given an opportunity to prove himself on a Supersport machine before the end of the season.

Embassy Racing also took the opportunity to thank Paul Young who is now coming to the end of his contract with the team and is already making plans for next year.

Young said: "I am delighted to have been part of the deal that has seen Triumph hook up with Embassy. Obviously I am sorry to see the season coming to an end, but it was only ever going to be a one year contract to get the team up to speed with the 675. I feel my work has paid off with the current level of success and am only disappointed that bad luck has prevented me from having as much of the joy on track as I have had off it."

Embassy Racing Team Manager Myles Schofield said: "I would like to thank Paul for everything he has done for us this year. He has been a key figure in the development of these bikes and I would like to wish him well in whatever he chooses to do in the 2009 racing year. He continues to be a valued partner of Embassy Racing."
