BSB: Rutter safe at Worx Suzuki?

Visordown's BSB mole uncovers news that Tommy Hill's after Worx Suzuki ride

AFTER A DISMAL Snetterton round which saw him bag just a seventh place and a DNF for the Worx Crescent Suzuki squad, Michael Rutter still has the backing of team manager Jack Valentine.

Speaking about Rutter’s results this weekend, team boss Jack said: "This has been a weekend to forget. We're going back to the workshop, find out what went wrong with the bike in that second race, and regroup ready for Knockhill.

"Michael put in a good performance in that first race and was looking stronger still in the second so to come away with an incomplete picture is a cruel end. Michael has again ridden well and he's capable of front row qualifying and podium finishes - what's happened isn't his fault.

"What we'll do now as regards rider selection for the next round, at Knockhill, it's too early to say. Like I've said, Michael's ridden really well and it's fair to say his results haven't fully reflected what he's put in - so he most certainly remains a strong contender."

However, the hot rumour doing the rounds at Snetterton was that Tommy Hill (recently parted company with the Althea Honda Hannspree WSB team) was hot favourite to take over the ride in time for the next round of the championship at Knockhill in a couple of weeks time.

what has Tommy Hill done to deserve that ride then?

they would be better of taking the microphone off Haydon and giving him a go that Tommy Hill

Rutter is the best rider without doubt who has no premanent ride this year, i cannot understand why people still continue to write him off

Rutter is  a v good rider indeed.  Only running one bike its not going to be easy to get track time and data for the rider so I feel they should write this season off and try as many diffrent guys as they can.  I would give the young lad Alistar sealy a run on the bike he is on the crest of a wave at the momment.  The team may be able to afford him next season also.  Makes sence.

I struggle to see where Hill is going to end up. Is he going to get a ride for the rest of the season?
