HM PLANT HONDA star Steve Plater finished his weekend on a high, by taking the final spot on the podium in Race Two at Brands Hatch BSB meet.
Plater bounced back from a crash in the opening race, which saw the Nottinghamshire rider fall at Druids hairpin. Plater repaid the HM Plant team by clinching third in the dying stages of Race Two.
It was a busy weekend for the TT ace; Plater also raced in the Supersport 600 series, after Aussie racer Josh Brookes was denied entrance to the UK over visa issues.
Plater said: "It has been a pretty good weekend for me and to be on the podium for the second time today, but this time finishing on the podium in BSB is just fantastic. In the second race I was suffering a bit from chatter but we worked through it and to finish third is a great result for the whole team. This should be my job done now in BSB as Josh (Brookes) is due back for Oulton Park so I can focus fully on the Supersport class. I managed to keep it on two wheels for the second race which is a good start and I am so happy to have finished on the podium."
