FORMER DOUBLE British Superbike Champion Gregorio Lavilla has parted company with 2008 Team Boss Paul Bird and will ride the Pro-Bike Honda in 2009 World Superbikes.
The announcement has put paid to the rumours that Lavilla might make a return to the British Superbike series, where he revamped his career with the Airwaves Ducati.
The Pro-Bike Honda team is headed by Marco Nicotari and will be a one-rider team around the likeable Spaniard.
