BRITISH Superbike star Leon Camier ripped up his L-plates this week after passing his motorcycle test.
The 22-year-old Airwaves Ducati rider spent a week training at the BSM training facility at Silverstone, swapping his 200bhp Ducati 1098R race bike for an 80bhp Monster 696.
Camier said: “It’s been a long week and I was nervous but it has been a great experience, the instructors have been fantastic and helped me through it.
“I have had a lot of fun this week but I must admit it has been strange riding through Buckingham high street in full race leathers and a fluorescent bib!”
