BSB: Kawasaki to field two teams in 2009

MSS Colchester Kawasaki and Buildbase Kawasaki set to line-up on the BSB grid

KAWASAKI HAS confirmed it will be fielding two teams in the British Superbike Championship in 2009, despite the high-profile withdrawal of the factory MotoGP from this year's season.

Both the MSS Colchester Kawasaki squad and the Buildbase Kawasaki teams running two riders in BSB 2009.

The official Kawasaki Motors UK entry in BSB is the MSS Colchester Kawasaki team, they have two new riders with double World Endurance Champion Julian Da Costa returning to BSB this season to team up with Simon Andrews in Nick Morgan's squad.

Meanwhile Hawk Racing will continue to run Kawasakis in BSB, with reigning Superbike Cup champion John Laverty and Tristan Palmer join forces in the newly-branded Buildbase Kawasaki team.
