The HM Plant Honda rider took the chequered flag ahead of team mate, Jonathan Rea, with Tom Sykes taking the final spot on the podium - a first for the Stobart Vent Axia Honda rider.
Pole-sitter Cal Crutchlow failed to follow up his impressive qualifying performance, getting pipped to a podium slot by Sykes on the closing stages of the final lap.
