BSB: Andrews heads Snetterton Free Practice 1

MSS Colchester Kawasaki man tops the timesheets ahead of this weekend's BSB meet

SIMON ANDREWS - the man performing miracles for a team competing on one of the smallest budgets in the BSB paddock - has set the fastest time in this morning's Free Practice at Snetterton, ahead of this weekend's BSB meet.

Andrews was the only rider able to dip into the 1:05 bracket, recording a best of 1:05.939 on his ZX-10R Kawasaki. The result is a just reward for the humungous effort put in by the team over the last few weeks, which has seen Andrews and team-mate, Julien de Costa, vying for the lead in many of the last few rounds.

The team have taken onboard a new electronics package, which will help the riders combat the effect of wheel spin and resultant tyre degradation. So expect more to come over the following weeks.

We're prepared to stick our necks out on this one: Andrews for a win this weekend. Watch this space.
