KTM factory rider Taddy Blazusiak smashed the competition when he charged to
the finish at the mind-numbingly hard Erzberg Enduro in just 1h 20m.
The Polish rider who won last year’s race was a full 15 minutes in front of
his nearest rival, German rider Andreas Lettenbichler.
Blazusiak's victory through the sixteen control points destroyed the
competition in what is widely regarded as the toughest one day competition enduro in
the world.
He said: “The bike and everything worked so well that I just had to keep my
concentration up and make sure I rode as smoothly and quickly as possible.
This event is very hard and nothing about it is easy but I am very happy to
have put in this performance here today.”Brit Mark Jackson rode brilliantly,
breaking into the top ten on his KTM.
