VW ... artist's impression but first bike won't look anything like this

HERE'S what some of the car magazines are saying the new VW motorcycle will look like when it comes out in the summer of 2009. Looks just like a Brutale to us, we expect VW to produce something lean and green.

Looks pretty cool to me.

Quit whinging and be thankful that theyve had the guts to even consider taking on the other manufacturers.

Just hope it isnt going to cost an arm and a leg!

For some reason my brain just can't seem to get used to seeing a VW badge on a bike and it does look pretty similar to a couple of other bikes already out there.
If anything i would have expected VW to make some kind of commuter type eco friendly moped or something....

I loved my VW car and would jump at a chance to own a VW bike!

this article seems to be a shit. it's not a VW, it's Moto Morini Corsaro 1200.

See this report:

Note the comment:   What we can say for sure is that the rumored bike isn't likely to look anything like the picture above, which nonetheless is an interesting mash-up of an Aprilia trellis frame along with bodywork from MV Agusta. At least the artist chose good stock from which to pilfer.

So it's a picture of a generic bike with a VW badge on to make a story.
