Reigning MotoGP World champ tops the figures for the motorcyclist with most web pages
VALENTINO ROSSI has more web pages about him than any other motorcyclist and is the 24th most popular sportsman in the world.
The news comes after a survey of web traffic by company Lalistawip which says that although the Italian is 24th most popular, he is still pretty close to Michael Schumacher who comes in at 18th overall. Lewis Hamilton is the world's most popular motorsport participant on the list in ninth place.
There are more than 7.5million web pages featuring Rossi compared to the most popular of 42.2million for David Beckham and 31.9million for Christian Ronaldo.
James Toseland managed 4.1million pages whilst Dani Pedrosa topped 3.4million. Marco Melandri scored 1.7million and Casey Stoner rallied 1.5million overall.
