V-sign British Biker jailed for 6 months

Caught giving the V-sign to a speed camera at 88mph in a 30 limit, now in the slammer

A BIKER who gave a speed camera the V-sign as he passed it at nearly three times the speed limit has been jailed.

Patrick Sheehan-Dinler, 29, of Hertfordshire, was initially given a six month sentence suspended for 18 months, at Luton Crown Court in March.

But Sheehan-Dinler, of Aycliffe Road, Borehamwood has now been jailed for six months after prosecutors appealed against his sentence at the Court of Appeal. The camera caught him speeding 65 times at up to 88mph in a 30mph zone. He has also been banned from driving for a year.

A Crown Prosecution Service spokeswoman said: "We are pleased with the sentence imposed by the Court of Appeal and feel that it now reflects the nature of his offending and offers protection to other road users."

Luton Crown Court had previously heard how Sheehan-Dinler owned seven high-powered bikes which he would ride up and down the A5183 Elstree Road. The bikes were registered at his address under different names, so officers were unable to link Sheehan-Dinler to them. Muppet. You go DAHHHN, boy!

After careful consideration i think it safe to say that the man is a half-wit .

Just the type of idiot to kill somebody whilst riding/driving like a loon and thinking he is the ''Man'' when in fact he is a sad pathetic individual who really needs to grow up. He needs to show a little more respect for other people around him who don't want to die by his actions.

Road Pirate

And they wonder why the prisons are full when they put people in the nick for petty bullshit like this.

And of course all the pork resources to go and catch him.

Disgusted of Hampstead, etc.

You have read the bits about him being mid a ban when he started the offences??? he also used fake names to register ebay accounts to sell his bikes on..I wonder whether that was just because of his speed camera antics??

I doubt it took much more than 1 persistent officer to track him down.....and IMO well worth it to remove unlicensed, uninsured, reckless and irresponsible scum off the road

Build bigger nicks, lock up all twats and then the country could have higher speed limits because the roads would be safer. Simple

The country had no speed limits until Jaguar decided to test the E Type's top speed up and down the newly built M1 to prove it could do 155.

Whitehall were appalled and the rest is history.

So blame Jaguar.

Now now you lot, We all go a bit daft occasionally. But this wasn't occasional, considerate or safe for others. Let's hope that when he gets out he manages to wrap himself around a camera post, without hurting anyone else. Badly damaging the camera in the process would hardly redeem him, though, would it....

I think they had an artical about this guy some time ago in TWO mag. If I remember correctly, they caught him because there were only 3 of those bikes in red in the country and only 1 in Herts were he lived. Didn't take much for them to work that one out then...

65 times at up to 88mph in a 30!!.....yeah he deserves to have the book thrown at him!

And Big Nige, I thought the AC Cobra was responsible for the speed limit when a coupe version reached 196mph! on a test run...... and other factors like fog.

88 in a 30? What a fucking bellend.

Now i'm no angel when it comes to speeding but time and a place is the order of the day.

Is he one of those stupid twats that thinks he's a really fast rider ripping around town trying to race chavs in tarted up shopping trollies?

I can picture the scene now...

Big Vern sat in his cell : 'Do you want to be the mummy or the daddy?'

Bellend Biker : 'I'll be the daddy if that's ok?'

Big Vern : 'Well come over here and suck mummy's cock.'

If he is so stupid as to taunt the police with v signs then he cant complain when they come looking for him. 88 in a 30 area is just dangerous.

Posted: 28/05/2008 at 10:32

Niall76

Once is pretty funny but the repeat offending is only going to make someone want to catch you.

Plus the 88 in a 30 is a pretty dumbass thing. On the open M-way maybe but not in a built up area...

Zammo
88 in a 30 is just mad.  Imagine how people in general would feel about bikers if he'd killed some kids. Follow Portsmouth's move to a 20mph in residential areas and stiff EVERYBODY who breaks the limit.  Do what you want on the open road and it's your neck on the block.

what a complete twat, shit on your own doorstep and sooner or later you will step in it.  ps dont bend down to pick up soap
