Denver racer becomes the fastest man ever but he won't make it into the Guinness Book of Records
Hogan hit 250mph in under six seconds

A US drag racer has beaten the world record for the fastest quarter-mile ever recorded on two wheels but it won't count in the Guinness Book of Records.
Denver's Korry Hogan took his top fuel drag bike from zero to 250.97 mph in 5.95 seconds, beating Larry McBride's record of 245.36 mph. However Hogan didn't set an official world record, as the rules state a potential world record has to be backed up by a second run that is within 1 percent of the speed of the first. Hogan's second run of 238 mph wasn't enough to make it official.
"I can't put into words what it's like. You accelerate faster than you can comprehend - faster than a jet fighter taking off from an aircraft carrier," said Hogan.
But he can take some comfort in the fact he's the fastest motorcyclist ever over a quarter-mile.
