High-speed chase ends in shootout
POLICE IN America have shot dead an armed motorcyclist after he led them on a high-speed chase through a Texas city, Police reports have confirmed.The incident took place North West of San Antonio in the early hours of this morning (Thursday) after a man allegedly set fire to a house before fleeing the scene by bike while wielding a gun. Following a chase involving numerous officers and a police helicopter the man was shot dead by Police marksmen.
At present it's unclear whether the suspect had opened fire before being fatally wounded.
