Let's hope BMW's new S6R looks like this...

Visordown Motorcycle News
...and the road-biased F800 like this

HERE'S ONE new BMW the Spanish think the company will debut at the Cologne Motorcycle Show alongside the firm's new superscooter and one super-sexy superbike that we'll get to ride in 2010.

The first is a new naked bike powered by the 800cc motor that currently moves the F800S, ST and GS and the second is an oh-so-sexy S6RR scheduled to be first shown to the world officially this time next year. The info that the Spaniards have been given says that the S6RR is the bike visordown brought you a month ago showing a single-sided prototype in action on a track test day.

The motor is thought to be a triple and will be 675cc. Expect to see the S6RR at the end of next year and then going on sale in 2010. These are only CGI ideas of the bikes, we'll bring you the pictures proper as soon as we have them.

Can't be a proper BMW - where are the panniers?

The S6RR looks similar to the old Bimota Tessi and the old Yamaha GTS.
Looks an awesome machine (no dobt the price will match who knows). Can't wait to see the real thing.

The article actually says:

"These are only CGI ideas of the bikes, we'll bring you the pictures proper as soon as we have them. "

GuitarHero

Let's hope that BMW are thinking of putting a bigger (maybe rim-mounted) front disc or a pair of front discs on.

Good effort by the CGI artist though.
