AMAZING new pictures have been leaked from Triumph showing their new for 2007 Tiger.
The new Tiger uses the powerful, character-packed six-speed 1050cc triple-cylinder engine as seen in the Speed Triple and Sprint ST, allegedly punting out 115bhp at the rear wheel. The alloy frame looks to be completely revised to house the new engine and chassis. The front end is completely new too, boasting 43mm fully-adjustable USD forks and radial 4-pot brakes coupled with a 17" front and rear wheels, so finding decent rubber won't be a problem.
The 2007 Tiger weighs in at under 200kg - that's lighter than a Kawasaki ZX-7R, but the tall seat height of 835mm will rule the Tiger out for shorter riders. A 20 litre fuel-tank aids the Tiger's all-rounder and touring potential.
Designed to be sporty, while also offering all day comfort for touring and city riding, the Tiger also features optional ABS.
The Tiger has bitten off a lot in a highly competive market and now, since Ducati have revised the Multistrada by introducing an 1100cc version, the all-new Triumph Tiger proves that the all-rounder market is a more important manufacturer battleground than ever before.
The Tiger will be available in the following colour schemes: Jet Black, Caspian Blue, Fusion White and Scorched Yellow.
