Triumph Tiger 800 and 800XC prices announced

Triumph's price for the Tiger 800 is the icing on the cake

WE'VE GOT the pricing details for the new Tiger 800 models, fresh from Triumph.

The Tiger 800 will retail at £7,149  with an additional £600 for the ABS model. The Tiger 800XC will retails for just £600 more than the standard model at £7,749 with an additional £600 for the ABS model.
 
Availability for both Tiger 800 modles will be January, with dealer demonstration bikes being delivered in from late December, depending on the exact production volumes in the run up to the Christmas period. 
 
The prices take into account the January 1st VAT increase and therefore won't change in the new year.

They certainly arent sharing accountants with Yamaha! This will sell like hot cakes.

I think so, but then again I'm biased. My short list for a new bike was Concour 1400, F800GS, Sprint GT, Yamaha DP thing, and of course the Tiger 800 and XC.

 The list just got narrowed down to the XC. I am guessing the 800XC ABS will be approx. $11000 USD when it gets over hear, that is in the range for what  I want to spend.

 Having owned/loved an '01 Sprint ST, '99 Thunderbird Sport and a '05 Tiger, I am really looking forward to seeing the 800XC in person.
