Criminal activity

SOUTHEND policeman, Steve Fisk, had his 'highly modified' Suzuki Hayabus stolen in the early hours of Monday the 7th of November.

The bike features 'distinctive flame paintwork in purple and yellow, over a black and white chequered background'. The registration is YNG 341. PC Fisk values the bike at over £14,000.

'I am devastated as I shed blood, sweat and tears over that bike', he said. 'It won awards and was featured in bike magazines over the past few years and I'm struggling to believe that someone has stolen such a distinctive machine. We believe it would have been taken away in another vehicle and we are conducting extensive checks on all vehicle movements in the area between the times of the burglary. I will leave no stone unturned in my efforts to get my bike back.'

Anyone with information, or who witnessed suspicious activity in this area is asked to contact the investigating officer, PC Anthony Sharman, who can be reached at Rayleigh police station.

I would pay for someone to pinch my bike if it looked like that.

You mean the Police didn't just say they were to busy to come and look for evidence, probably just kids, already been broken for spares, and i'll give you a crime number for your insurance company, good day....

Glad to see the police don't discriminate on how they investigate bike crime. Last time I reported a theft, "here's a crime number".

Amazing, when i had a bike stolen the police didn't give a f&*k, now they will work all the hours going to try to recover this ugly piece of crap

I pity the fella as bike thieves are scum, suprised his guide dog didn't bark to let him know there were strangers about!
On a serious note, i agree with a few other posters here with regards how he is treating his vehicle theft with how the Police deal with members of the publics vehicle thefts!
Local bike shop here were broken into overnight and a bike stolen, appx 11pm, Police arrived the next afternoon ... go figure.

Had my bike stolen twice and police got it back both times.. I feel sorry for the guy - if the article had read "award winning bike modificatorarizer has pride and joy stolen" everyone would be focused on how much bike thieves are a bunch of cunts.

He's probably released that statement to try and scare the thieves into dumping the bike once they realise it's a coppers bike. I'm sure the police force aren't going to give him his own SWAT team and Apache helicopter. Though that would be cool. Poor bloke is in the same boat as the rest of us, hopefully his scare-tactic statement works..

That being said, the first suspect they should look at is his wife... Or anyone else that may have to be seen riding pillion.... :0)

My daughter's MX bike was nicked and to be fair, the coppers got it back. What was crap was that I had to pay them £150 to get it back :-(

Ha Ha Ha!! no sympathy with a piece of crap like that, i bet the police officer never informed his insurance company of all the "modification" with any luck he will get screwed over like the rest of us and lose out!!

So Policeman Fisk values his multi coloured swap shop bike at £14000 I wouldnt give him £1400 for it with that paint scheme.

I reported four youths attempting to steal my bike and they wouldn't even come out to investigate, although they probably could have caught them red-handed.

I had a mate that was forever having his garage broken into and his bikes stolen. One night he saw the theives at it and called the police.

The police said the were very busy and couldn't get anyone there for at least 2 hours!

He caught the theif and locked him in the garage.

He called the police back and said there was a gunman in his garden. Within 5 minutes, he had 6 police cars, a van full of coppers and a helicopter overhead.

When the coppers asked him where the gunman was, he said "I locked him in the Garage".

The coppers opened up the garage in full SWAT style, all guns pointing. When they saw the theif cowering in the corner, they said to my mate, "I thought you said he had a gun"....

My mate replies..."I thought you said you couldn't get anyone here for two hours!!!"

My Brother caught a would be bike thief in the act, attempting to nick his pride and joy from the shed and proceeded to show him the error of his ways with a sharp knee to the groin and a couple of right hooks to the jaw..... Result 3 month suspended sentence for ABH.

British justice.....bollox!!
