24 Karat MV ... not available at Elizabeth Duke

WHILE MV Agusta are trying to knock down rumours of a Hayley-Davidson buy-out, the company is still chasing money with this incredible bit of marketing at an Italian Luxury Fair.

Covered in 24 karat gold, the F4 RR 312 show bike is a standard 312 (well, as standard as they get) that has its five square metre surface entirely covered in the bling.

The expensive coating, no word from the factory about how much it costs but it aint gonna be cheap, is made up of 80 x 80mm gold panel that are overlaid onto the original bike.

It actually doesn’t look that bad does it?

I'll weigh a ton, tarnish in bad weather and be a bugger to put right if you scratch it.

Bah....humbug.
