OVER 3,000 motorcycle enthusiasts attending the Royston and District Motorcycle Club (RDMCC) charity show were treated to an exclusive peek at BMW's new S1000RR superbike.
The annual charity show featured the first UK public showing of the S1000RR, the machine BMW hope will catapult them into the lucrative big-bore sportsbike market.
The S1000RR came direct from BMW to Stephen Crowther at SBW Motorrad in Hertford. He said: "We couldn't tell anyone that we were bringing the bike. It's all been very hush hush. The bike has been ridden from the factory to us and then to the show, and straight back to the manufacturers."
