Prince William - replete with sponsor-clad leathers

PRINCE WILLIAM turned up in style to a play in a polo match at Coworth Park club in Ascot, Berkshire, last weekend on his new Ducati 1198S.

The future King of England rode into the event on the £14,500 superbike, wearing bespoke leathers, smothered in race-style sponsor logos. William was also wearing a full-face helmet with a black visor. Streethawk stuff indeed.

Last year the Prince, who's an avid motorcycle fan, rode with brother Harry in a charity motorcycle event across Africa.

Nice bit of free publicity for Ducati, eh?

Give him the thrown now, with him and his brother both avid bike fans, hopefully something can finally be done about this nanny state's supposed disposition towards motorcycling as a whole. (We might even get bike only lanes on motorways with no speed limits, no wait, that's ludicrous but would be awesome). Long live the Future King

Or at least he USED to ride a Ducati and wear that outift. Only now the image is out there, he won't be able to any more, will he?

I say the more publicity of the 2 of them on bikes the better.  As said by wingin it might shut some of the critics up.

I doubt it - they'll just moan that the 'future King' is risking his life needlessly.

i'd rather my taxes went on this free bike, lid and leathers than some cunt's 3rd fuckin' house that doesn't even exist anyway!!!

Cool Hand Chuck
Can you imagine him on a "Crown Royal" paint schemed bike?

Posted: 14/07/2009 at 16:51

Cool Hand Chuck
Also, I bet that Triumph was quite upset that he was riding an Italian bike and not a British bike. Hint, hint Triumph, stop farting around and put that 1050cc triple in a Superbike and maybe he will next time.

As successor to the throne of the UK he could have worn kneesliders with a more british outlook.

Impressed at him riding a ducati on grass though.

Is that an illegal number plate he is sporting as well? Looks a bit on the small side to me....

Free publicity for Ducati? Bet they gave him the bike!

Loks like race cans too.

Disturbing his grandmother's peace?

Posted: 15/07/2009 at 06:37

So that's why the royal family are asking for more money. Mumma Windsor keeps buying her grandsons superbikes. This puts me off Ducatis to be honest, leave them to princes, Tom Cruses and other (short) people with more money then sense.

would be more impressed if he got a proper job, fucking parasites the lot of them!!

Posted: 15/07/2009 at 10:15

rotreg
If he had a cg125 that he bought himself it'd be more impressive. He'd seem like less of a cnut on one of them too.

ghost R

there's a lot of negativity here lol

even though i agree the royal fmily are a bunch of paracites and slackers, essentially glorified dolites, i have less against this sponger than the rest of them who blow our money on range rovers, aston martins, helicopter flights to golf games with golf clubs we paid for etc etc

it's gotta be better our money is being used for bikes and shit than other bollocks hasn't it?

i'd bloody love a free bike and set of bks leathers, anything bike related for that matter!

Posted: 15/07/2009 at 10:41

looman

I cant afford the bike leathers or the sliders.... Tyres cost too much and the blighters get it all on a plate.... Grrrr still

at least he hasn't got red hair like his half brother....

Posted: 27/07/2009 at 19:52

Presumably, his Polo kit is in the back of the Security Range Rover. He should have his sportsbag bungeed to the seat and that mallet strapped across his back. Then he'd have some respect.

Posted: 28/07/2009 at 22:27

DonnyBrago

He's still a silverspoon cunt!

What sucks the most is that my taxes paid for his bike and its better than mine

Kill the royals, use thier corpses as fertiliser, sell the palace to make a bloody big starbucks and use the cash to feed starvin kids in africa.

Done and dusted

Dave11821

the money they bring in through tourism far outways the money they cost the state.

plus proper job, search and rescue pilot, sounds ever so selfish!!

I would ask anyone who wrote a derogatory comment to think for a moment how they spent the last 24hrs.   Everything you done you chose to do.  Not if you are Royalty.  They are born into a life they dont choose, to be in the public eye every second of their lives.  They are good lads just like the rest of us.  If they spoke out about people like some of the blogers have you would be the first to complain.  If only everyone was as positive as they are about life and others.

Sorry but I think some people are being narow minded.

Good luck and good riding to harry and wills, and the rest of the royal family.

I am sure I saw the Prince of Wales on a Quad bike a few years ago.

when i get up for work tomorrow morning at 5.30 i'll feel sorry for that load parasites still snoring their fucking heads off and the fifty fucking servants waiting for them to wake up so they can hand them there breakfast.
And when i get my pay slip tomorrow showing 40%tax i'll feel sorry for the royal family knowing that they have never done a fucking stroke in their life and never payed a fucking penny tax.
I think 99% of the honest people grafting their bollocks off every day and trying to pay there bills would swap places with either of those 2 fuckwits who don't have a care in the world except wether to spend the next 4 weeks at fucking balmoral or buckingham palace.
GET REAL.

End of rant!

Dont see you risking your life in Afganistan - just how many tourist pounds are you responsible for bringing into this country every year.

Think you're the one one that should "get real" as you put it.

It must be terrible to be rich, work only through choice not through necessity and even within that "job" be given opportunities and promotions not afforded to regular soldiers many of which will be more able and capable within their roles.

"If they spoke out about people like some of the blogers have you would be the first to complain"

The only reason the Nazi fuckers dont speak out is because of the negative impact it would have on their oh so necessary funding. They are an outdated tradition that have no place in the modern world, it is pretty damn embarrassing as a nation that we continue to support these leaches.

I would love to see it put to a national vote, not another god damned poll that only interviews old ladies and parish paedophiles.
