French Police confiscate suspect's motorcycle after he's caught on camera at almost 155mph
Police arrived at the 41-year-old man's house after the incident yesterday, a spokesman for the city's police said. They had identified him using the registration plate and confiscated his driver's license and motorbike.
The man will have to appear in court in May where he can expect a hefty fine and the suspension of his driver's licence for several months.
He probably will not see his motorbike again for several weeks either.

wonder how long you would get inside for getting caught going flatout....180+mph on the motorway....
depends hugely on previous offences/background of person but i reckon a good few weeks even it was your 1st attempt.

Not only that he was reading a map
So he should have known where he was going.
At least he wasn't a snail, but then again, he wouldn't have made the same headlines.... (because he would have been slow). I know, a joke explained is a crap joke

According to French sites he was caught at the scene after the autoroute was blocked and he hit a car trying to u-turn. No insurance either. Not such a good effort.
