Motorcycle-riding robbers nicked after targeting London fashion store
TWO MOTORBIKE-RIDING thieves have been caught by Police after designer handbags, believed to be worth around £70,000, were snatched in a daring raid from one of London's most exclusive designer stores. Smash'n'grab thieves hit Roger Vivier's Sloane Street store in the early yesterday morning, looting exclusive designer handbags, hours before they were to feature as the centrepiece of a new product launch.Scotland Yard said today two suspected raiders had been arrested after a high-speed chase across London. The two men were being questioned at a west London police station after crashing their motorcycle in the city-centre chase.A spokeswoman for the store said: “They would be very obvious because there are no others in existence. It would have been very difficult to sell them without attracting attention.”Last week thieves riding three sportsbikes hit Mappin & Webb jewellers in Old Bond Street stealing around £100,000 worth of Rolex watches.
Hmmm... only two guys and a noted high speed chase...
I guess that we can rule out the four blokes on two mopeds that hit the Belstaf store for the high end designer jacket a while back then...
