MICHAEL SCHUMACHER has released a statement to the world motorsport media saying that reports that he is to enter the German Superbike Championship are wrong.

There have been claims that the former F1 god was to be given a permanent start number in the IDM championship after recent club races and high-profile test sessions in Germany and Austria.

The statement, released by Schumacher's spokeswoman Sabine Kehm said: "This is false. Michael will focus his energy on working with Ferrari to try and win the F1 title once again and will continue to ride motorcycles for fun only."

Boo.
