Safety advice for bikers

New leaflet to give guidance on road safety

BREAKDOWN SPECIALISTS, Gem Motoring Assist, is to distribute a pocket-sized leaflet giving advice on some of the hazards associated with filtering and group riding, with a view to reducing the number of accidents when commuting or leisure riding.

The leaflet was written by Martin Cooke, who's a former police motorcyclist and a ket figure of the GEM Road Safety Charity. Martin believes the content of the leaflet gives useful advice with coming across as patronising and believes the leaflet will help riders better assess the risks of filtering. Martin's also tackles the problems associated with lots of machines in close proximity when group riding.

If you would like a copy, please send a small stamped addressed envelope to GEM Motoring Assist, Station Road, Forest Row, East Sussex, RH18 5EN. If you represent a group and require a large number of leaflets, please email enquiries@motoringassist.com
