Nine-time World Champ admitted to hospital suffering from acute abdominal pain
REIGNING MOTOGP World Champion Valentino Rossi was admitted to San Salvatore Hospital in Pesaro, Italy, yesterday, suffering from acute abdominal pain. After a series of tests by medical experts at the centre, Rossi was diagnosed with an inflamed appendix. Fans will be pleased to hear Rossi will not have to undergo surgery. He was released from the hospital after a few hours of medical supervision.The Fiat Yamaha rider is due to test a Ferrari F1 car in Barcelona next week. It's unclear whether his condition will prevent Rossi from participating.
