NSR500 ... are you man enough?

AS SAVAGE bikes go, not many have the reputation of a 500cc two-stroke. And now you could grab the chance to own a slice of racing history, as a Honda NSR500 has come up for sale on eBay.

This Shell Advance Honda NSR500VF was ridden by the 'King of Slide' Garry McCoy in the 1998 GP500 class. This is the v-twin version, which has a claimed power output of 170bhp and a dry weight of 132kg. Today's superbike figures may look like they offer similar performance to this 500cc race bike, but the NSR's lack of weight, racing geometry and downright savage power delivery puts it into an entirely different league.

The current price is £25,000 and the buy it now is just under £60,000. You can drool over the eBay listing, here
