POLICE are looking to find a biker who may have witnessed a crash on the A11 at Besthorpe which claimed the life of a 34-year-old man.

Rikki Gardiner, 34, a father of two from Wymondham, died in the accident where his black Toyota Supra left the road on the A11 at Besthorpe at around 7.30pm on Thursday, July 5.

Prior to the accident, Rikki had been at the funeral of a school friend, Marc Ramsbotham, who died while riding on the final day of the Isle of Man TT, as reported on Visordown last month.

Police have limited information on the rider they're looking to find. They know he's called Wayne and that he was on his way back from Snetterton with a pillion passenger. Wayne and is pillion were riding towards Wymondham when they overtook the black Supra moments before it left the road and struck a group of road signs.

If you are the motorcyclist or if you have any further information, please call PC Shane Schucroft or Sgt Peter Howlett at Western Area Road Policing on 0845 456 4567.
