A BIKER in Australia cheated death earlier this week, after he survived a motorcycle accident that left him impaled on a tree branch.

Emergency services were called to the scene of the accident in Harlaxton, Queensland, where the 21-year-old motorcycle rider was found in a conscious state with a tree branch sticking into his chest.

A Queensland Ambulance Service spokesman said:

“Officers stabilised the man’s injury to minimise movement and he was taken to Toowoomba Hospital.

“No major organs were hit by the branch and he remained conscious and talking throughout the ordeal.”

I suppose you could say he was 'caught by the copse'.
