The new 2008 Fireblade is less race and more roadTWO'S NIALL MacKenzie has just finished his first test session on Honda's new 2008 Fireblade, and has fired us back his initial impressions.
"Honda have designed the new Blade with road users in mind, rather than focussing on out-and-out racetrack performance. This makes the new Honda easy work around Losail GP circuit - it's certainly less frantic than Kawasaki's new ZX-10.
The first session is just for us to acclimatise ourselves to the new machine and track, so I'll send you an update once we've stuck in some more laps.
Tim Skilton's out here armed with a tank-mounted camera, so check back later for some onboard and bike-to-bike footage."
