WE SPOTTED this sign on Google Street View, which was obviously put there to let you know that deer cross the road ahead. But they've got it a bit confused - that's a funny-looking deer!

Hitting a deer would be pretty bad, but piling into the side of an elephant would definitely be a story you could tell the grand kids. If you survived that is...

I'm constantly amazed at how gulable people are and would believe some authority in Canada would put up a sign like that. What a load of bullshit,it's as believable as flying pigs.  Although maybe if some people read that on Google or in the Sun newspaper then that would be real as well.

Actually TRUE, I live in Vancouver, and those signs ARE on the North Shore. They also have a few other African animals. I am originally from South Africa ... so, they kinda make me feel at home.

Well, the GOOD news is, it has people looking for just about ANY type of animal.

...Which, if you think about it, can't be all that bad!

Way to go!
