New Honda VFR by 2010

Check out French mag Motorevue's stab at Honda's much-anticipated VFR

Like it or loathe it?

THIS IS what the new Honda VFR will look like, according to the lads at French mag, Motorevue.

The bike, which is due for release in 2010, will not get Honda's MotoGP-derived V5 motor but will instead feature a 1000 V4 engine. Electronic bar-operated gearchange, traction control and combined ABS are also expected to appear on the company's flagship sports-tourer.

Motorevue's version draws heavily on the current Fireblade's drab styling. Let's just hope the new VFR looks nothing like it.

Sorry French design blokes.

If it's got one of Honda's excellent V4 derivatives, the superb usual build quality and a full 1 litre capacity .... I might even be tempted to move on from my pre-VTEC VFR800 at last!  Ugly - well maybe, but who cares if it does what it says on the tin - which I'm pretty sure it will.

Where do I put my deposit down?

Hmm...it's kind of nice futuristic looking, but hate the wheels and seat unit. I thought VFR's were race derived bikes

Really?  What future is that?

Looks astonishingly derivative to me.
