Ducati announce another big cc Monster variant

Ducati have unveiled their new 07 model-year hot Monster " the S4R Testastretta.



The new Mosnter range-topper features the 130bhp 'narrow-head' low-sump L-twin, fully adjustable USD Showa forks with radially mounted Brembo callipers and Sachs piggy-back reservoir rear shock.



No prices have been announced yet but the bikes hit UK showrooms sometime in October. Two colour versions are available: silver with black stripe or red with white stripe.



Scottish bagpipes-style exhaust system is a necessity of the latest draconian Euro spec noise emissions. A whispering Ducati? The World's gone mad...

So the 06 registered bike I had parked up the other night outside Rita's was what then?

An S4RS with Ohlins front and rear, the 999 Testastretta motor and an interesting paint scheme...

It seems that if the bike in this article is to be the range topper next year, something has gone horribly wrong at Ducati (no great shock I grant you!).
