A £2MILLION multi-purpose driving test centre was officially opened in the market town of Darwen, Lancashire, yesterday, complete with 125m x 40m motorcycle manoeuvring area.
The centre was granted planning permission last year after it was announced that changes were being made to the motorcycle test, in order to comply with European legislation. The centre is expected to open within the next few weeks before the test comes into force in April.
Darwen Test Centre will cover motorbike tests for the North West area.
