Banned for 106mph...doesn't take much these daysA MOTORCYCLIST has been banned for 42 days and fined £200 after he was clocked doing 106mph on the A65.
Damien Larkins, 23, topped the ton on his Suzuki SV650 while being followed by a police officers on August 23 2007. He was also observed by officers crossing double white lines on several occasions.
Larkins, of Howard Park, Cleckheaton, admitted speeding and failing to comply with the laws regarding double white lines.
He told the court that it was a misjudgement, that he was now selling his bike and that he regretted his actions. "I've just had a young son and it has put everything into perspective."
