THE motorcycle land speed record has been smashed with a 360.913mph two-way run at the Bonneville Salt Flats on Friday.

The Top 1 Ack Attack Streamliner motorcycle, powered by a modified Suzuki Hyabusa motor was piloted by Rocky Robinson and broke the former record of 350.884mph set by Denis Manning's Bub Racing team - a record that has stood since 2006.

Dangerous stuff as the video above shows, this was the 290mph crash that Ack Attack suffered last year and shows just how quickly things can go wrong at nearly the triple ton.
