MotoGP: Bradley Smith out of 125cc Dutch TT

Practice crash for plucky young gun

BRADLEY Smith, the British 125cc MotoGP rider, has been ruled out of the 125cc Dutch TT after a crash in practice.

The 16-year-old Repsol Honda rider, sustained hand and foot fractures after being hit by another rider, Andrea Iannone, who was on a hot lap as Smith was cruising on the rumble-strips.

Provisional pole was taken by Mattia Pasini with Britain's Danny Webb, on the De Graaf GP Honda, 30th.
