A BIKER'S grave has been ransacked just days after the anniversary of his death.

Damien Stokes was killed while riding his motorbike on Berry Hill Lane, Mansfield, on 27th June 2001 when he collided with another vehicle.

Seven years after his death his mother, Kym Stokes, is asking for help in finding the people that ransacked her son's grave.

Friends have set up a group on Facebook to try and help track down the culprits, who stole a number of items from the grave.

Speaking to local paper, The Mansfield Chad, Kym said that she and husband John had visited their son Damien's grave at the King's Way Cemetery, Kirkby, on the seventh anniversary of his death in a biking accident to pay their respects.

But just days later when John visited the grave on the anniversary of Damien's funeral he found that a large number of items had been taken from the grave.

Anyone with any information on the thefts should contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Hudson
A grave of a biker or any other grave, they are total scum and deserve to be in the same place as the grave they desecrated. If it were my family member and caught them i would more than likely be doing some ''time''.
