Milan Show: New Monster 696 Video and pics
Underseat exhausts, 80bhp - and it's entry level!

Fifteen years after it was introduced the Monster is born again
Underseat tailpipes, aluminium subframe and only 163kg
Massive swingarm, beefy forks - we like it - do you?
DUCATI HAVE just released pictures of the new Monster 696 at the Milan Show.
The entry level Monster weighs just 163kg, that's a full 10kg lighter than the original 1993 Monster 900. The weight loss is thanks, in part, to the new lightweight aluminium subframe, lighter wheels and less weighty underseat exhausts.
Power is a claimed 80bhp (that's more than the original Monster 900), a slipper clutch also makes an appearance.
