THIS IS BMW's new BMW F800R, shown for the first time at the Milan Show.

The 2009 machine is a 798cc parallel twin, with 65ft-lb torque at 6,000rpm and 87bhp at 8,000rpm. A six-speed gearbox, with quite a small tank at 16L, weighing in at 177kg.

The BMW F800R has a wet weight of 204kg, 43mm non-USD forks at the front, monoshock rear and chain final drive, as opposed to belt on previous F800s. 320mm Brembo discs at front, a single 265mm disc at the back.

BMW are also releasing a limited edition Chris Pfeiffer special, pictured below, to celebrate the Swiss rider's victory at the Stunt World Championships.
