A LONDON MOTORCYCLIST has been shot in the leg by a bike thief posing as a would-be buyer.
Police say the injured 27-year-old man had advertised his Yamaha YZF-R6 for sale earlier this month.
It's reported a male, posing as an interested buyer, arrived at the seller's home, in Sunnymead Road, Kingsbury. After a short time, the assailant shot the seller in the leg before stealing his motorcycle.
Police have appealed for witnesses to the robbery, which happened at on 5th November at around 7.45pm, to get in touch.
The gunman is described as black, in his late 20s, and was wearing a red and black crash helmet, a black jacket, blue jeans, and trainers.
Police say the victim's injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
