Emission-free off roader takes the limelight at FIM convention
AUSTRIAN MOTORCYCLE giant KTM has put their new electric-powered off roader on display at an FIM conference in Geneva.
The E-Bike, which is due to go on sale in 2010, is a full-on competition bike weighing just 90kg.
KTM's Harald Plöckinger says the lack of noise and emissions means the company can bring the benefits of an electrically-powered enduro bike into the heart of densely populated cities.

i would suggest that because the bike is an enduro spec bike that it would have to be taxed and insured.
i like it though and can't wait to ride one.
