HE’S BEEN the rookie revelation of the MotoGP year, but Spain’s Jorge Larenzo has now added another string to his bow – catwalk model.

The baby-faced assassin of the premier class has teamed up with Italian company Sweet Years to dress him in stuff that looks more like a re-run of Miami Vice than funky GP god goods.

Sweet Years is the company started by top footballers Christian Vieri and Paolo Maldini.

Vieri said: "Paolo (Maldini) and I have followed with interest Lorenzo’s journey in motorcycle racing from the beginning. And we were sure that it would also demonstrate his talent in MotoGP, fighting from the beginning with the more experienced champions in this great sport.

“And this is exactly how it has happened to us in the fashion world. We hope that Jorge completely reflects the character and the philosophy of Sweet Years."

Apparently, there is no truth in the rumour that Jorge has just started living on a yacht in a Miami dock, nor that he has bought himself a pet alligator called Elvis.
