Panigale S Tricolore joins F1 champ's garage collection

FORMULA one driver Jenson Button has bought a Ducati Panigale S Tricolore and a Multistrada 1200S Pikes Peak Edition.

Button splashed out on the £23,750 Panigale and £17,250 Multistrada earlier this month. The bikes are currently being shipped from the UK to his residence in Monaco.

Button is on a five-year £60million contract with his team Vodafone McLaren Mercedes, but even at £12m a year, Button earns less than his team mate Lewis Hamilton who is reported to be on £15m a year.

Button is an avid collector of cars and motorcycles, his collection includes a custom Harley, Ferrari Enzo and Nissan GT-R. He has formerly owned a Bugatti Veyron, Honda S600, NSX Type R and he had to sue Mercedes for his championship-winning 2009 Brawn BGP 001.

Good lad. Now go and win the F1 championship with Lewi.

Makes for a much less embarrassing headline than Roooooney "designing" hogs.

His day job is driving one of the fastest cars in the world at its limits and he chooses to ride a sports bike for fun on his days off.

Top man Jenson!

Good luck.....
